Doughboys first started in 2013 in Walterʼs mumʼs laundry, making doughnuts from scratch and figuring it out as we went. The first pop-up ran out of a Thai restaurantʼs empty morning window slot, followed by a year long residency alongside Fancy Hankʼs at the old Mercat Hotel. In late 2015, we opened our Bourke Street shop.
For years, Doughboys was known for doughnuts. Moving into sourdough bagels was a big shift, but one that felt more right than anything weʼve done in the past 13 years. Hand rolled, boiled and baked daily, this is the next chapter
of Doughboys.
